PACKING TYPE
SEASON
Mackerel is a pelagic, fast-swimming fish that moves in large
shoals. Mackerel does not have a swim bladder, meaning it
must always be in motion so that enough oxygenated water can
flow through its gills. Due to changes in the temperature of the
ocean, mackerel has altered its migration pattern and is now
also found in Arctic waters. Rich in omega-3 acids, mackerel
makes the top list of healthy products.
